Easily Connect to Garmin Marine Network The GMR 406 communicates with the Garmin Marine Network through a waterproof 100-megabit plug-and-play proprietary network which gives you the ability to expand your boats system as needed. You can connect a GPS antenna and one remote network sensor (like the GMR 406) directly to a multifunctional display. Or, with the addition of the GMS 10 Network Port Expander, you can connect multiple displays and network sensors to the same network.
