NavPod Protects Your Electronics In Harsh Conditions

Angle Guards 9.5" Wide

NavPod AngleGuards are designed to upgrade sailboat steering systems to accomodate mounting of electronics onto NavPods.

Edson is a popular manufacturer of steering systems who has always used a 9.5" wide pedestal guard. Most of their pedestal guards are 1" in diameter. Lewmar (formally Whitlock) also has manufactured steering systems that use the 9.5" wide format. Navpod supplies the SG10 and AG10 as a easy retrofit onto either of these systems.

Because of the clean and secure method of concealing wires and the need to accomodate large connectors and heavy radar cables within the Stainless Steel tubes, Navpod recommends the larger 1.25" diameter AngleGuards. Often the existing Top Plate needs to be bored out or replaced with the TP125 to accomodate the larger diameter. Navpod supplies Polished Stainless Steel feet with all 1.25" AngleGuards.

Keeps rain and salt water spray off electrical connections on the back of electronics

Tamperproof
Special fasteners and wrench are included that provide security and convenience to leave electronics on-board

Concealed Wiring
No loose wires are exposed to corrosion and UV damage

Clean Installation
The clean look of flush mounting. Mount your display where you can best see and reach it.

Pre-Cut Models
Come with a Flush Mount Kit, which includes the specific gasket and mounting hardware for your electronics if not supplied by manufacturer with unit.
